Brake fluid replacement interval

The brake fluid is ignored by most people. It is extremely important that the fluid is changed regularly: every 30000 miles or 2 years. Moisture gets absorbed by the brake fluid and the boiling point decreases. Under heavy / repeated braking, you might notice that your brakes do not work properly. Also, because of the humidity, the caliper piston can get rusty and does not move smoothly anymore, causing permanent friction between the pads and the rotor and ultimately warping it. At this point, the whole brake system needs to be replaced – a costly repair! Keep in mind: always change the fluid in time! Do the required maintenance! If you do not know what needs to be done, order a Bumper-to-Bumper inspection today!
